Week 7 Recap

Image
Week 7 Recap I see many teams trying to make trades right now, but people might be too tied to some of their stars to try and make a deal. Or they're trade raping, who knows. Will we see a shuffle of players here soon?  Only time will tell as we officially cross the halfway point of our fantasy season. And playoff spots are still up for grabs. The addition of games this season, there' still a chance for teams to start to pop off. If Marty doesn't keep snaking everyone good off of the waiver wire. Maybe I'm just hoping my team of barely names can pull off enough wins to sneak in. It's not likely. Fuck. But one thing I can say for the teams in playoff positions, us hobos in the cellar will not stop swinging. Players come back, more prove their value, and as we all saw last year, our own playoffs can produce surprises as well. Subtle gloat. I'll stop ranting and get to it.  Orchids of Asia (99.82) v Fuck You Cammarn Vol. 2 (96.44) Another close game that came down...

Week 6 Recap

WEEK 6 Recap We haven't even gotten to the halfway point of the season and two things are certain. One, all our teams are banged the fuck up. And two, we're all so good at fantasy football that the waiver wire looks disgusting even with our paltry five bench spots. So kudos to us, but with bye weeks hitting, more than a few teams are looking for replacements and puking in their mouths a little bit when they see the wire. This is the part of the season that makes of breaks teams, it'll be real exciting to see what teams make it out with playoff spots or even a full roster the way this season is going. TRADE NEWS; 2nd trade of the season is made, again Robby dealing players to avoid waffle house, trading James Conner to Jackson for Chase Claypool. This seemed like a match made in heaven, with Robby shipping one of his many RB's to RB-needy Jackson for a WR who has underperformed so far this season. Let's take a look at the last week while I cry about my own RB situat...

Week 5 Recap

Week 5 Recap *National Anthem Presented by Dan Tarlini* Moving closer towards the second half of the fantasy season, our league looks a little different than it normally does. There is a definite divide between good teams and bad teams, with there being three 4-1 teams and just as many teams locked to a pipe in the proverbial cellar. Does this has to do with good drafting or the ridiculous glut of injuries that every player has sustained this year? Only time will tell, but now that we have bye weeks to contend with, the men and the boys will be separated soon if they haven't been already. We had our highest scoring week total of all time I think (everyone scored at least 100 except for 2 of us and someone almost put up 200 good god), so lets jump into last weeks matchups, shall we? Brother Decotis Lives (107.26) v Fuck You Cammarn Vol 2 My sequel is definitely not as good as the original. While I hoped trading away Kelce for Saquon (among other players) would do me good, he went d...
