Week 7 Recap
I see many teams trying to make trades right now, but people might be too tied to some of their stars to try and make a deal. Or they're trade raping, who knows. Will we see a shuffle of players here soon? Only time will tell as we officially cross the halfway point of our fantasy season. And playoff spots are still up for grabs. The addition of games this season, there' still a chance for teams to start to pop off. If Marty doesn't keep snaking everyone good off of the waiver wire. Maybe I'm just hoping my team of barely names can pull off enough wins to sneak in. It's not likely. Fuck. But one thing I can say for the teams in playoff positions, us hobos in the cellar will not stop swinging. Players come back, more prove their value, and as we all saw last year, our own playoffs can produce surprises as well. Subtle gloat. I'll stop ranting and get to it.
Orchids of Asia (99.82) v Fuck You Cammarn Vol. 2 (96.44)
Another close game that came down to the wire, it's becoming a weekly trend for our league. Schmaus came out of top with vicious performances from Kamara and DK on Monday night. The rest of his team didn't really pop off other than Carr, but he didn't need anyone else. I tried to ride the strength of Kyle Pitts performance and got decent double digits from half of my team, but unfortunately don't have the star power that Schmaus boasts. Bye week hell was indeed hellful for me. I don't think hellfull is a word.
I was winning by 50 point before Monday Night
Sean Paul's Naughty Shawties (126.34) v Non-Fungible Team(118.54)
Patty Mahomes might've slipped down a few pegs after Sunday, but Camm sure didn't. Powered by Deandre Swift's 25.4, Davante, Gesicki, and special teams all showed out to grant Camm the victory. Robby got great performances from Hurts, Harris and Scary Terry, but it came down to Monday night's game, where the NO D locked up the victory for with 14 points.
Camm right before he gets "fucked" again
Brother Decotis Lives (108.44) v Dawson's Zeke (53.8)
I thought I had a bad week with bye's, but Ira's was apparently worse. Having Zeke and Thielen out gave Ira no good performers, and to make matters worse he started the Jets defense last week with -10. I don't know what column you read that on but definitely don't follow any more of their advice Schmi. Tune doesn't need running backs apparently, getting a hot week from wideouts, his defense and unsurprisingly Kyler. Tune performed the lap and scored over double what his opponent did.
Idk if I've used this one but just as fitting as last time if so
Omalu's Future Patients (140.08) v Kupp the Balls (131.76)
Highest scoring matchup of the week over hurr. Ja'Marr Chase popped off for 30 and Jackson got another 20 from Godwin and Lamar to win this one, but had to fight off Pay-Pay the whole way. Payton had wild games from Kupp and Deebo, and Rodgers performed as consistently as usual. But what changed the game was Jackson having more consistent scorers, as Payton's couple of players that underperformed ended up costing him in this one.

Return of the Fupa Party (120.24) v Losing Season, Drinking Reason (94)
Goddamn I hope this sequel starts to suck. Marty continues his dominance with fine performances as usual fro, Brady and Henry, but surprisingly not having to ride one or the other this week. ELijah Mitchell, Michael Pittman, and Khalil Herbert had great games as well to help Marty win this without needing an outrageously high scorer. Gordo couldn't keep his winning streak up, doing great with his kicker and defense pickups this week along with Tannehill and Taylor, but had too many shitty games from the rest of his team, to make this one competitive.
By land or by air
Robby Anderson WR1 (111.54) v The Leftovers IR (100.44)
Payne finally getting a win that I know he feels he deserves. Fuck that guy. But he did pull off a win against on of the hottest teams at the start the season. It didn't matter that he started Sam Darnold (Go Giants) or the Baltimore D, he had hot games from D'Ernest Johnson and Mike Evans to go with some consistent scorers on the rest of his team. Burrow and the Tampa D had monster games for Donny, but the rest of his team couldn't score up to their projections, downing him in this matchup.

POWER RANKINGS
With so many trade offers being thrown around and a personal request from Slammarn a few weeks ago, I will be talking this week about what areas each team should try and trade for as the season gets spicier.
I only want the Manning-cast on Monday Nights
1. Return of the Fupa Party (6-1), Quality Wideouts
Marty continues his dominance with the top spot again, but he could use another big wideout to make his team truly monstrous. He can talk about Michael Thomas, Toney, and TE university all he wants, he needs a consistent scoring wide receiver to pair with Jefferson to ensure the Fupa Party actually returns.
2. Sean Paul's Naughty Shawties (6-1), Quality Wideouts
Much like Marty, Camm has a damn good team but could use an upgrade at wide receiver to pair with Adams. I actually think Camm has a better corps than Marty, but still doesn't strike fear in the hearts of his opponents. He usually racks up a bunch anyway, but with Jeudy coming back to take Sutton's job and Brown being injured all the time, can he really ride them to a championship?
3. Kupp the Balls (4-3), TE Depth
There's not alot to hate about Payton's team. He has the two of the best wr's in the league, Dalvin Cook, and a bench filled with running backs who are primed to pop off if an injury should arise. But when we're looking at a top team, it should have a better TE than Hunter Henry. I know he's dealing with an injury to Kittle, but the depth at TE is not good enough to ensure this team comes out of the playoffs on top. And Kittle was shit before his injury anyhow.
4. Omalu's Future Patients (5-2), Running Back Depth and TE
Najee Harris is an okay running back, but other than that, Jackson doesn't have any consistent performers in that area. He needs to upgrade in that area if he wants to keep this spot, but he also needs a quality TE. Fant aint it. Jackson can't hope one of his receivers has a 30 point game every week, he needs more consistent scorers, as this is the first week that anyone scored a huge number on him. He made out with a high score as well for one of the lowest scoring teams, but can't hope for luck in that category going forward.
5. Orchids of Asia (5-2), Running Back
Russel Wilson should be coming off the IR soon, but SChmaus needs more from his running backs. There's a 60% chance that Kamara will go for over 20 on any given night, but he needs better backup options if he wants to win the chip this year. Michael Carter and Kenyan Drake ain't it (neither is Murray on your IR).
6. Brother Decotis Lives (4-3), Running Back
CMC and HUnt are both on the IR and noone is really sure when they are coming back. Tune is running (heh) with maybe the worst running back core currently, and might need to trade for one to stay relevent. But he still is in a playoff-spot ranking wise, so at least he can just hope one comes back to power him up a little. But if either takes a while to get healthy, Tune does not have the depth to strike fear in opponents.
7. The Leftover's IR (4-3), Wide Receiver
Donny is falling down the ranking with each week, showing he can't rely on his running back core alone. He might have Cooper and DJ Moore, who are names, but neither has been super consistent this year. They might have a game or two that they go off, but Donny cannot count on them week by week, leaving his prospects at the position less than ideal.
8. Losing Season, Drinking Reason (3-4), A solid Flex
Gordo has decent starting wideouts and running backs, but the rest of his team looks like ragtag group of waiver warriors. None of the rest of his players has the ability to pop off week by week, leaving him looking for someone to plug and play at flex every week. If he wants to get a late playoff spot, he needs to gain a consistent performer of some sort.
9. Robby Anderson WR1 (2-5), TE and WR depth
Mike Evans might have gone off last week, but it's definitely more likely that he puts up shit numbers on any given week. DHop has also been underperforming due to his high standards, and Payne could use someone else who puts up numbers every week. Hockenson also blows so his dropping of Schultz looks like real dementia-ass move.
10. Fuck You Cammarn Vol.2 (2-5), Starting WR
Prolly don't have anything to trade with anymore, so my hope is that one of the many WR's I have can earn more targets and yards as the season goes on. Diggs isn't wholly consistent, and it leaves me shuffling my wideouts every week. The players I have left after all the injuries don't look great on paper, so I need a sleeper to stay consistent to have any chance. Vol.2 might head into a production delay.
11. Non-Fungible Team (1-6), WR Depth
Robby has a plethora of running backs that could theoretically pop off even if they aren't consistent. But Scary Terry wont produce every week and Calvin Ridley is extremely touchdown dependent, elaving him with few options in the pass-catching department. Claypool is just a name at this point and Beckham is washed. If he wants to fight back to earn some respect, he needs more WR options and more Hurts garbage time to crawl out of the cellar.
12. Dawson's Zeke (0-7), Anything
I'm not being that mean, Ira does have decent wideouts in Thielen and Woods. But they're both #2 on their teams and can't be guaranteed targets or points. His defense is ok too, but other than that, Ira needs help. A qb, starting rb, starting te, something might need to happen fast for Ira to get out of the Waffle House punishment.
Games starting, I don't have time for my normal shit talk. Fuck all of you, the boys at the bottom are about to start making comebacks, I can feel it.
