Week 8 Recap
Short writeup today boys as I am starting this at....4:37 GMT. Trades are getting spicy as the pretenders try to remake their teams. Not as many teams sitting pretty as I thought would be at this point, and noone is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs just yet. But the injury bug has gotten arguably worse with Kirk Thuggins now out for the season after his achilles fucking exploded. Fantasy success can generally be gauged on how healthy a team can stay every season, and this one is even more proof of that point. May everyone on your team stay fit as we head down the long road to the wire.
Fuck You Cammarn Vol.2 (160.6) v Trust The Process (102.68)
Camm's process might've yielded a dynamite game from Ceedee (36 points) but nothing can stop my team when I have one of the lions running backs popping the fuck off with my dynamite wideouts.
2019 All Pros (139.78) v Dawson's Zeke (89.12)
Double digits from everyone on Schmauses team is gonna be tough to beat, and Ira's team could not back up the usual stellar play of Travis Ettiene.
3 Kids 1 Nut (87.56) v Scared of the Fupa (84.18)
Close matchup even if they both sucked this week. Payton was able to ride a hotshit Dak performance (28 points) all the way to the finish line, and Rob couldn't muster half of his team to even hit double digits.
Losing Season, Drinking Reason (113.12) v Brother Decotis Lives (95.86)
Herbie and The Gus Bus led the way for Gordo with 20+ point performances, but Tuna should be praying that a coaching change in Oakland can make his positional players stop underwhelming. Hurts had over 20 again for Tune doe.
OceanGate's Deepwater Gaurdians (118.86) v Martins Sweat Box (115.56)
Another close matchup, this one much better. Jackson was able to get close to 20 from 3 different players. Trev had some good performances too, with 20+ from Allen and Chase, but it all came down to Sunday night. Jackson was able to swing the matchup with Ekeler and a great performance from the Chargers D, while Trev couldn't catch up with only 7.5 from DJ Moore.
Losers Bracket Champ (138.56) v Brian Kellys Fupa (98.38)
Someone trade Meg a QB. Meg had a few players at or close to 20 with Kamara, Waddle, and Kirk's swan song for the season. Marty on the other hand found out what it was like when Taylor Swift doesn't attend games. Kelce can't save you every week it seems.
POWER RANKINGS

McCaffrey cannot be stopped.
2) Fuck You Cammarn Vol.2 (Mesh), 6-2
My wideouts and the lions cannot be stopped (mostly).
3) Losing Season, Drinking Reason (Gordo), 6-2
Call him RBU with the emergence of the Gus Bus.
4) OceanGate's Deepwater Gaurdians (Jackson), 5-3
Ekeler is back, baby.
5) 3 Kids, 1 Nut (Payton), 5-3
Someone trade this man a running back.
6) Martins Sweat Box (Trev), 3-5
Streak broken, needs to start praying again.
7) Losers Bracket Champ (Meg), 3-5
Pour one out for all of his dead quarterbacks.
8) Brian Kellys Fupa (Marty), 4-4
Doubt TSwift will be at the game in Germany.
9) Brother Decotis Lives (Tuna), 3-5
The Raiders are dogshit but he has hope now (maybe).
10) Trust The Process (Camm), 3-5
Better hope his opponent scores less than 100.
11) Scared of the Fupa (Robby), 2-6
Also scared of Arthur Smith.
12) Dawson's Zeke (Ira), 1-7
At least DHop is relevant for him again.
Another dogshit Thursday night game for us in an hour, yuk. But we have some fun matchups this week, two of the top teams duking it out with the middling field all playing each other, this could be an important week for anyone still trying to grumble a playoff spot. Only a few more weeks to go boys, how does football always disappear so fast? It's cause we're old, forgot. Whatever. As usual, fuck you all, but most importantly, Fuck You Cammarn (Vol.2)
